Spiritual Direction is the practice of working to deepen your relationship with the Divine through a relationship with a spiritual guide, whether you are Catholic or of another faith. Meet St. Mary Monastery's spiritual directors.
Spiritual Directors often have degrees in Scripture, Theology, Liturgy, Moral Theology or Spirituality. Certification is required.
Your guide will listen to your story with compassion and acceptance. She or he then will help you discern God’s presence in your everyday life experience.
While the benefits of Spiritual Direction are unique to each person, the most important is the opportunity to receive support in your spiritual journey.
