Special Retreats for Women and Men

Next month, Benet House will be hosting two special retreats - one for women, and one for men. We encourage you to take a weekend for yourself and your faith, and spend it here with us at the monastery.

For Women

All women are invited to join our women’s weekend retreat, Wisdom Woman, coming up next month on from June 21st to June 23rd, 2019. The Wisdom Woman retreat is a chance to connect with women from scripture, history, and your own life. Sr. Bobbi Bussan, OSB, will guide attendees as they reflect on the ways other women have inspired them, and how they can pass their own wisdom along.

Check-in for the Wisdom Woman retreat begins at 5:30 PM on Friday, June 21st, with a soup supper soon to follow. The retreat will end at 1:00 PM on Sunday, June 23rd. We have options for private or shared rooms, as well as commuters. Whether you choose to stay at Benet House or commute, all your meals are included.

Today, May 20th, is the last day to register at the special early registration price - tomorrow, registration fees will increase by $15, so register today by clicking here.

For Men

The next weekend, gentlemen are invited to our men’s retreat: Believing and Living as God’s Beloved Sons Today. The retreat runs from June 28th to June 30th. Fr. Jim Bracke, our presenter, is a Quad Cities native, Alleman High School graduate, and current Staff Chaplain at the University of Notre Dame. With his help, attendees will come to a deeper understanding of what it means to be one of God’s sons in today’s world.

Check-in for the men’s retreat begins at 6:30 PM on Friday, June 28th, with the first conference beginning at 7:00 PM. The retreat will end by 12:00 noon on Sunday, June 30th. As with the women’s retreat, you may choose a private or shared room, or commute to Benet House. Regardless of your choice, your registration includes meals.
