Sister Claudia said she researched a number of orders and communities before choosing to explore her vocation with the Benedictine Sisters of St. Mary Monastery. “I first came to visit during a vocation weekend,” she said. “Everyone was warm and welcoming. I was moved by the way they sang with one voice. When I first heard them, I stood there in awe. And then I chimed in. I felt at home.”
Sister Claudia made her Perpetual Monastic Profession in 2010, and today serves in parish ministry at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan, Ill.
